✨ A study in balance, light, and gentle color movement.
Stacked Stones — “Kissing Stones” Edition is a small-group watercolor experience designed especially for beginners and curious creatives.
Using lightly outlined stone forms as your foundation, you’ll explore how watercolor behaves — how it settles, deepens, softens, and gently travels from one shape to the next.
We call them kissing stones — because when two damp shapes meet, the color moves between them in the most beautiful, unexpected ways.
The Experience
You’ll create a balanced stack of stones while learning:
- How to work wet-on-wet without overworking
- Where to place shadow for grounding
- How to build depth using simple tonal shifts
- When to stop before the piece becomes overworked
Guidance is steady and encouraging.
This is not a formal watercolor lesson heavy on theory.
It’s an exploration of color, gravity, and trust.
The focus isn’t perfection.
It’s presence.
What Makes This Experience Different
- Small group size for personal attention
- A thoughtfully limited palette for compositional success
- A calm, music-filled studio atmosphere
- A structure that allows for complete creative individuality
Every participant works from the same palette and stone structure — yet every finished piece looks entirely unique in tone, weight, softness, and expression.
That contrast is part of the magic.

- Curated watercolor palette
- Brushes, water, and materials
- Step-by-step demonstration
- One completed matted watercolor piece to take home
All materials are provided. No prior experience is necessary.
Participant Reflections
Guests often share that they arrive feeling tentative and leave feeling proud.
Many describe the experience as surprisingly freeing — like returning to the creativity of childhood, but with the calm confidence of adulthood.
